NASCAR Week: The Richard Petty Driving Experience: It's an exciting month for NASCAR fans, as Charlotte Motor Speedway prepares for the 10 Days of Thunder. This weekend is the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race (May 16th), followed by the Coca-Cola 600 on May 24. In preparation for the races, Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken is spending the week looking at some race fan hotspots in both North Georgia and in Charlotte, North Carolina.

If getting behind the wheel of a racecar is on your bucket list, then this is a story for you. While in Charlotte, Paul tried out the Richard Petty Driving Experience, which offers daredevils the chance to either ride in the passenger seat as a racecar speeds around a track, or actually drive the car. Paul got to do both, starting with a thrilling ride with NASCAR driver (and Georgia native) David Ragan, who took the car up to 170 miles per hour! Then it was Paul's turn to drive, and let's just say the car didn't quite go that fast with him behind the wheel!  For more click here.
