ATLANTA - Red Pepper Taqueria Hosts Annual Cinco Celebration: It’s the biggest day of the year for Metro Atlanta eatery Red Pepper Taqueria, and lines are expected around the block for today’s Cinco de Mayo celebration.
Both Red Pepper Taqueria locations (in Buckhead and Decatur) will host Cinco de Mayo parties from 3 p.m. until closing, featuring live music and specials including $3 tacos. Red Pepper Taqueria is the creation of Chef Mimmo Alboumeh, who was born in Lebanon, grew up in Spain, and opened the Mexican restaurant with the mission of serving a menu that’s heavy on locally-grown and organic foods.
Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning at Red Pepper Taqueria, and spent some time helping Chef Mimmo get ready for the party of the year!
