Coasting through Christmas at Six Flags Over Georgia
AUSTELL, Ga. - It’s one thing to take a nice, slow drive to look at our area’s beautiful holiday light displays. It’s another to see them go by in a blur as your scream your head off on a rollercoaster!
If you like some thrills to go along with your winter chills, Six Flags Over Georgia’s got you covered with the fifth consecutive Holiday in the Park. The annual event extends the park’s season through January 6th, transforming it into a winter wonderland with more than a million lights, exclusive holiday treats, and visits with the Jolly Old Elf (who, it turns out, enjoys riding Twisted Cyclone with his elves!).
The park also presents holiday-themed family shows, including the all-new “Bad Bob Humbug,” and special areas like the delicious S’mores Village. And yes, the park’s most famous rides are just as exciting in the cold weather as they are in the heat of the summer, and they offer some pretty spectacular views of all the holiday décor!
Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken never misses a chance to hang out at Six Flags Over Georgia, especially when it’s all dressed up for the holidays! So he spent the morning there getting a look at this year’s big event – not to mention coasting into Christmas with some new friends!
