It just wouldn’t be Christmas without seeing Ralphie in his bunny suit, The Old Man building his leg lamp, or Randy snorting food like a little piggy from a trough.  And now, one of the most iconic holiday films of all time is coming to life on the stage of Atlanta’s Fox Theatre.

A Christmas Story, The Musical opens on November 29 and runs through December 4, as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2016-2017 season.

The musical is based on the beloved 1983 film A Christmas Story, directed by Bob Clark and based on the writings of Jean Shepherd, and tells the story of a young boy named Ralphie growing up in 1940s Indiana and his quest to get a Red Ryder BB Gun for Christmas.  The current tour features Myles Moore and Austin Molinaro (rotating in the role of Ralphie), Susannah Jones as Mother, and Christopher Swan as The Old Man.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken never misses a chance to watch A Christmas Story, and spent the morning at The Fox Theatre chatting with the cast and crew about bringing this classic to life.
