It’s one of the most unique musical celebrations in North Georgia, featuring top acts performing amongst the historic mausoleums and monuments of Oakland Cemetery.  And this year, one of the most successful acts to come out of Atlanta is headlining the show.

Arrested Development will perform at the sixth annual Tunes From The Tombs on Saturday, June 18.  The festival is a fundraiser for the Historic Oakland Foundation, which aims to preserve, restore, and enhance Atlanta’s Oakland Cemetery.  Arrested Development formed in the late 1980s, and went on to enjoy huge success with hit songs including “Tennessee” and “Mr. Wendal.”  The band plans to perform those songs and newer recordings, including the recent single “I Don’t See You At The Club.”  They’ll be joined by several other local groups, performing on a pair at stages at the festival.
