Atlanta Police Department talks preparation for a safe Labor Day weekend

ATLANTA (Fox 5 Atlanta) - It's the unofficial last weekend of Summer, and the metro Atlanta area is expected to be booming with traffic. Atlanta Police Department is making sure residents are safe, and will have plenty of law enforcement out and about. APD says they'll have detours set-up, and encourage residents to use ride-share transportation to help limit distractions while driving. They say even though the roads will be filled with traffic, they still want to make sure that you don't put the fun in the backseat, and enjoy your holiday weekend.
