Atlanta music greats join forces for weekend show

They are some of the biggest music acts to ever come out of Atlanta — and for one night only, they’re taking the stage in their hometown to show music fans why Atlanta is one of the best music cities in the world.

The All-ATL Show is coming to Fulton County’s Wolf Creek Amphitheater on Saturday, July 7 at 6:30 p.m.  The evening’s lineup includes Drew Hill, and fellow R&B group Jagged Edge, who gained a Grammy nomination for the hit song “Where The Party At” and scored a huge hit with “Let’s Get Married.”

Also taking the stage are some acts that spent Friday morning chatting with Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken.  First up was Silk, which topped both the pop and R&B charts in 1993 with “Freak Me” and set the standard for many male groups to follow.  Paul also spent some time chatting with rapper and songwriter Fabo, one of the men behind the song that was stuck in your head for months – “Laffy Taffy” – and Hip-hop duo Ying Yang Twins, best known for the blockbuster 2005 hit “Wait (The Whisper Song).”

Gates open for the show at 5:00 p.m. and tickets are available through Ticketmaster, starting at $45.  Wolf Creek Amphitheater is located at 3025 Merk Road in Atlanta.
