Atlanta girl wins MasterChef Junior
ATLANTA - This season’s winner of MasterChef Junior is from right here in our backyard.
Jasmine, 12, of Milton, is a sixth-grader at Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta. Thursday, she took home the MasterChef Junior trophy and a $100,000 grand prize.
A second young contestant also made it through to the end. Justice from Sugar Hill made it to the Season 5 finale.
Both girls impressed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey again and again.
The show is a real culinary competition that gives talented kids between the ages of 8 and 13 the chance to show off their skills. The challenge-driven show is hosted by award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay and renowned pastry chef Christina Tosi.
Jasmine and Justice stopped by Good Day Atlanta back in February to give us a sample of their skills.
