Thanksgiving week weather forecast

Image 1 of 4

As we head into the busy Thanksgiving week, we're starting out with quieter, drier weather than we experienced last week.  Even so, there will be a small chance of rain by Monday night.  A weak cold front will bring an increase in clouds for Monday night and a few, light rain showers through the evening, mainly across northwest Georgia.  Showers should be gone by sunrise Tuesday.

From there, the weather will be sunny, dry, and seasonably mild for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thanksgiving day.  Each day will start out in the upper 30s to low 40s and warm to near or above 60 degrees.

The bigger change comes Friday when we'll expect a round of rain to move through. The rain will be steady and heavy at times from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.
