The latest cold front is bringing the coldest temperatures of the season with many neighborhoods with lows Saturday morning in the 30s and only rebounding into the upper 40s.

Winds are NNW 10-20 MPH and gusting up to 25 MPH making temperatures feel 5°-15° colder. This wind chill will continue throughout the day, so prepare for a deep winter-chill all day long.

A stronger surge of colder air will arrive Tuesday into Wednesday of next week.

With that, some areas of North Georgia could see a brief wintry mix early Tuesday.

No travel problems are expected, neither are accumulations.

Most areas will see freezing temperatures by Wednesday morning.

This cold snap is just about right on time as Atlanta's average first freeze is found in mid-November.
