Chick-fil-A Cow to start journey to SunTrust Park
ATLANTA - The Chick-fil-A Cow will be removed from Turner Field on Saturday as it begins its journey to the new home of the Braves, SunTrust Park.
The Cow will be taken to New Orleans for refurbishment and then will return to SunTrust Park in April.
You have a chance to take a photo with the cow Saturday from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Turner Field. Park in the green lot and gather at Monument Grove.
The Chick-fil-A Cow is 40’ tall, 36,000 pounds and is made up of 10,000 pounds of steel. Since the cow was installed on June 20, 2008, it has been present for 610 regular season games, 530 home runs, 5,673 innings and 32 postgame concerts at Turner Field.
