Big Show recap - Week Six
ATLANTA - Things are getting real! It’s Week Six of HIGH 5 Sports and the first Friday of fall. That’s right, we’re full steam into the heart of the season. Some teams will find glory, some will soon find regional dominance, some will later find the playoffs, but for now, they’re just playing it game-by-game.
If high school football has taught us anything, it’s that anything can and will happen.

Play of the Week – Week 6
Looking at the play of the night (unless something better comes along)… Mount Vernon Presbyterian, pass way up the air! It looks like the ball hits the ground, but the ref calls it complete, even receiver Justin Douglas isn’t happy.
But watching it in super sloooo-mooooo, the ball goes off the receiver, off the cornerback’s heel, and into Douglas’ chest. He gets his hands under the ball and maybe we all Mr. Ref an apology because that’s the play of the night.

Cedar Shoals at Clarke Central
Our game highlights begin with undefeated Cedar Shoals Jaguars versus Clarke Central Gladiators. These guys finished a very close second in our HIGH 5 Game of the Week vote this week!

Former Falcons Wide Receiver Terrance Mathis is now in charge at Pinecrest Academy. Things are not going so well for T-Math having started the season 0-3. Friday night, they faced Mt.Pisgah at Paladin Stadium.

And then it was time for the 680 The Fan Call of the Week. It's the surprisingly 1-3 Norcross Blue Devils versus Central Gwinnett game in a 7AAAAAAA showdown. Karl Werl and Doug Konkel have the call and our own Eli Jordan paints the pictures.
