Gwinnett County police say they are searching for a woman who is suspected of depositing counterfeit checks worth more than $200,000 in a bank, then withdrawing cash.

The deposits were made in late 2014 at two Suntrust Bank branches, according to investigators. Most of the money had been withdrawn before the bank shut down the account a few days after the deposits. The forgery was reported to police in early September.

Police have released three photos of the woman suspected in the forgery case, but they do not know who she is.

Officers would like anyone who recognizes the woman or who has information about the case to contact them at (770) 513-5300. There is a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
