Woman struck, killed in hit-and-run on Buford Highway

DORAVILLE, Ga. - Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who killed a woman in Doraville early Thursday morning. 

The victim was struck on Buford Highway at English Oak Drive.

Following the hit-and-run, police shut down all southbound lanes of Buford Highway. 

The Georgia State Patrol has been called in to help investigate.
