Woman Arrested for Leaving Child in Vehicle

ATLANTA - Police said a woman has been arrested for leaving a toddler in a car for nearly an hour.

The Atlanta Police Department said that it happened at the Kroger located on Cascade Avenue in southwest Atlanta just before 3 p.m. Monday. Investigators said Tamisha Upshaw, 37, was charged with reckless conduct for leaving the child in the vehicle with a windows rolled up.

Police said the 2-year-old girl was rescued from the vehicle and was said to be in good condition.
