'Witness' sought in teen's shooting death in Marietta

MARIETTA, Ga. - Police need the public’s help to locate a potential witness in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old inside a Marietta home on Sunday.

On Monday, police released images of the person, who they say may have information about the shooting death of Miles Sanders. Officers found Sanders dead inside a home on Wilson Circle on Sunday.

A person called 911 that day reporting that a 17-year-old was accidentally shot inside a residence the residence just before 6 a.m., according to police.

Detectives said they were able to find the gun used in the shooting.
