Atlanta Police are searching for the killer of a father of three.

“Me, losing Tracey, a part of me died. They took my heart,” said Yolissa Jackson, the sister of Tracey Bernard Jackson.

Police said the 44-year-old father was gunned down May 2 in broad daylight, while he was walking on Hilburn Drive in southeast Atlanta.

Police said a man with short deadlocks and camouflage shorts was walking with him, but after shots were fired, the man jumped into a black SUV that sped from the scene.

“I want to know who did it, why they did it,” Yolissa Jackson said, who is speaking publicly with hope someone could provide information to police.

Her brother leaves behind three boys.

Anyone with information is asked to call Atlanta Police or Crime Stoppers. Individuals can remain anonymous and receive a reward up to $2,000.
