Warner Robins Shows Their Pride in Being the Home of Miss America

WARNER ROBIN, Ga. - How proud are Georgians of the new Miss America coming from the state?

A post on the organization’s Facebook page on Tuesday shows a worker placing a sign in Warner Robins that states "Home of Betty Cantrell Miss America 2016"

Miss Georgia, Betty Cantrell, beat out 51 other contestants at the Atlantic City pageant. She took home a scholarship worth $50,000 and she will now embark on a national speaking tour.
