ATLANTA - Three veterans living on Atlanta’s Westside are now enjoying big renovations to their homes.
It's thanks to a partnership between the Home Depot Foundation and HouseProud Atlanta, a nonprofit that provides home repairs for seniors, disabled persons, and veterans.
More than 60 volunteers worked on the homes Thursday.
One of the recipients told us the repair work was much needed and much appreciated.
The other two recipients were Thomas Gibson, a Vietnam War veteran and his wife Lucy.
And Charlie Ruth, a 10-year army veteran and his wife Carolyn.
