Victim identified in DeKalb County shooting

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Family members said his wallet, cell phone and cash were not found on him, and they only became aware of his possible death hours after he was discovered missing by loved ones. 

Friends and loved ones called Grier a well-known member of the South DeKalb community, having attended McNair High School and played on the football and wrestling teams.

Grier also leaves behind two small children.  

"Why? Why would anybody want to do this to him?" said Angel Sheppard, Grier's cousin.

Anyone with information on possible suspects is asked to contact DeKalb Police or Crime Stoppers.
