Trump schedules victory tour stop in Alabama

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump is returning to Alabama for a stop on his post-election victory tour.

Trump's campaign website says the businessman-turned-politician will hold a rally in Mobile on Saturday, Dec. 17.

The event will be held at the 40,000-seat Ladd-Peebles Stadium, which also was the site of one of Trump's first large rallies of the presidential campaign.

U.S. senator and Trump attorney general designee Jeff Sessions also is from Mobile.

Alabama overwhelmingly supported Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton in the November election.
