The King Center hosts a fireside-chat-style event for the King holiday, centered around bridging the racial divide.

The night was moderated by actor Terrence Jenkins.

Several speakers covered a variety of topics ranging from recognizing one's individual influence to the perspective of a former white supremacist and even what role the NFL has as far as social responsibility.

Members of the audience were then invited to ask questions.

This event is one of several the King Center hosted over the past 10 days, to honor Rev. King's legacy.
