Police say they have one man in custody and are looking for two other suspects as the Georgia Bureau of Investigation investigates the officer-involved shooting. It happened at the Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody.

What we know:

Officials with the Dunwoody Police Department tell FOX 5 that officers arrived at the mall after receiving an alert about a burglary.

According to Dunwoody Police Sgt. Michael Cheek, the three burglary suspects broke into the mall with a sledgehammer and stole high-end luxury handbags from a boutique. The trio then jumped into an unoccupied small security vehicle and tried to flee.

When the officers confronted the suspects, authorities say the driver of the vehicle drove at the law enforcement agents. The officers fired shots and began a chase.

The pursuit ended on the 4500 block of Ashford-Dunwoody Road when the suspects' vehicle crashed, and they fled on foot.
