Suspect arrested for ATV thefts

MCDONOUGH, Ga. - McDonough police have arrested a man who they stole ATVs from a local motorsports shop.

And it's all thanks to a FOX 5 viewer who saw himself on TV.

Michael Lynch is charged with criminal damage to property and theft by taking.

Officials told FOX 5 surveillance video from a Sunoco in Stockbridge shows Lynch buying gas for one of the stolen ATVs.

And officers say they arrested Lynch after a second man – who had been identified as a person of interest in the case – saw the story on FOX 5 and called investigators with information.
