Atlanta police confirm that  officers  recovered 4  stolen Bentleys from Alpharetta at the airport abandoned in the  C parking lot area.

Alpharetta Police recently reported a rash of Bentley thefts.

Considering just one of those cars costs more than the average house, it is no wonder why they would be such a coveted prize for crooks.

As for how crooks stole the vehicles, police cannot say, nor do they know whether it's one person committing these crimes or several people. They said they need the public’s help in solving this crime.

According to George Gordon, Public Information Officer for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety an employee noticed the cars missing Monday afternoon.

The best estimate from police is that the cars were there Saturday when the dealership closed, but it wasn't until Monday that anyone noticed they were missing.

However, Gordon said it's too soon to know if this was an inside job, He said at this point they have very little to go on.

"We don't know at this point if the vehicles were removed, put on car carrier, driven off we simply don't know," said Gordon.

Alpharetta and Atlanta police are still investigating and gathering evidence.
