Space X scrubs launch of Falcon 9 rocket
CAPE CANAVERAL , Fla. - SpaceX has scrubbed their second attempt to send a communications satellite into orbit. The Falcon 9 rocket was just under 2 minutes to launch from Cape Canaveral on Thursday when it was held and then aborted.
This is the second day in a row that the launch has been postponed.
SpaceX successfully landed a Falcon 9 on a pad in December at Cape Canaveral. However, they will attempt sea-based rocket landing after this launch. Sea-based landings are considered to be much more difficult. The last three times SpaceX attempted barge landings all ended in failure.
