Smyrna boy donates lemonade stand earnings to police and firefighters
SMYRNA, Ga. - An 8-year-old boy is being praised for his amazing act of kindness. Instead of keeping his earnings from his lemonade stand, he donated the cash to a very worthy cause.
Graham Goodman decided to give more than $100 to the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation (SPSF). Police officers and firefighters were there when Graham made his donation.
The 8-year-old was all smiles when he dropped off the money!
"The Goodman family epitomizes what it means to have a healthy relationship between community and its first responders," SPSF said. "It is worth mentioning Graham's mother, Allegra, is a recent graduate of Smyrna's Finest Citizen Police Academy Class."
SPSF is a non-profit organization that encourages the partnership between community and its public safety personnel.
