Sinkhole engulfs two cars in Omaha

Two vehicles were abruptly swallowed by a sinkhole while stopped at an Omaha intersection on February 24, as captured by a nearby parking garage security camera.

OMAHA, Neb. - Two vehicles were suddenly swallowed by a massive sinkhole while stopped at an Omaha intersection earlier this month.

The video also shows bystanders jumping into action to help the drivers involved.

What they're saying:

"They helped get the drivers … to safety. Other bystanders directed traffic, and encouraged folks to back away from the area. Thank you so much to those who pitched in," police said.
