Several arrests after alleged underage sexual assault in Paulding

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. - Paulding County deputies raided a home on Cohran Store Road in Douglasville last week after investigators say an underage girl was sexually assaulted during a house party where minors had been drinking.
The sheriff’s office has since placed a sign in the yard reading "Drug House Closed for Business" and county leaders are now taking steps to seize the property.
What we know:
According to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office, the underage girl was a guest at a recent house party where other underage individuals were drinking.
At some point, things turned physical and 13-year-old Ja'loni Daniel and 17-year-old Ranaija White allegedly began sexually assaulting the underage girl.
Two males who were present at the party, 21-year-old Deontaye Parker and 17-year-old Jabari Scott, also allegedly began assaulting the underage girl, according to the sheriff's office.
Three other adults who were present were also charged, including 23-year-old Noah Brooks, 59-year-old Sarah Miles and 36-year-old Keisha Scott.

What they're saying:
Officials say deputies have responded to the home multiple times for a range of problems. The SWAT team alone has been called there four times in the past year.
"A crime this heinous, we're not going to tolerate that at all," said Jordan Yuodis with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office.
"Drugs, gangs, illegal activity, disorderly house, this is a nuisance house," said Sheriff Ashley Henson.
"The sheriff was not joking when he said one of his missions was to stop crime at the county line," said Yuodis.
What's next:
The county has started the process to take ownership of the property. Officials say the goal is to clean it up and eventually resell it in hopes of reducing drug activity in the area.
