The Georgia Aquarium has two new fluffy sea otter babies.

Little Mara and Gibson arrived at the aquarium this week after being rescued near the California coast.

Mara had been found on Jan. 17. The Georgia Aquarium was preparing for her arrival when Gibson was discovered by a response team during a large storm on Mar. 12.

The aquarium says the could have possibly been euthanized, but they placed an emergency request to be the two furry friends' new home.

The pups flew to Atlanta this week on a private jet, and were placed under 24-hour watch and care.

Officials say 10-week-old Mara is currently eating solid fish and is able to swim on her own. Gibson, who is around 5 weeks old, is still being bottle fed.

The pups will stay in an aquarium behind-the-scenes for now as they acclimate to their new home.
