Pre-schoolers in Woodstock are doing what they can to help senior citizens impacted by Hurricane Dorian.

Children at Primrose School of Sixes Roads brought more than 50 books to read with the group Friday at the Merrill Gardens Senior Living Home.

Dorian forced the seniors to evacuate their assisted living center in South Carolina.

Organizers said the children's kindness gave the seniors comfort.

Families at the school also donated snacks, bottled water, and toiletries to the senior living home.
