Police: Two found dead in home with gunshot wounds

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Two people are dead with gunshot wounds inside of a home in Lawrenceville, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Authorities have identified the two people as Donna Dennis, 82, and her son Mark Knox, 56.

A family member discovered a middle age man dead with a gunshot wound, and once police arrived, they discovered an elderly woman resident also shot dead, according to police.

The shooting occurred in the 1200 block of Bishops Lane, and police received a call about the incident around noon on Saturday.

The man was discovered by a family member coming to check on the residents. The family member saw the man's body through a back door after no one answered the door, according to police.

Police believe the incident is domestic related, and say there is a history of domestic calls at the home.
