Police trying to identify suspects in Newnan gas station robbery
COWETA COUNTY, Ga. - Police are trying to identify and find two suspects in connection with a gas station robbery in Newnan, according to Coweta County police.
The robbery occurred early Monday morning just after midnight. Police say two black male suspects entered a Shell convenience store located on McCollum Station off I-85.
One suspect was wearing a black hoodie and brandished a silver pistol, while the other wore a two toned black and gray zip up hooded jacket, according to police.
A suspect fired a .380 round before the gun jammed, according to authorities. The suspects took cash, and escaped in a dark-colored Dodge Durango, heading towards the interstate, according to officials.
