Alpharetta Police and the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office have arrested for a group of men they say were caught trying to burglarize a gas station.

Officials say that the officers interrupted the burglary at a Chevron gas station on Highway 9 and Devore Road.

According to police, the four men fled in a vehicle into Forsyth County, where they crashed on Union Hill Road. The suspects then ran away.

Police and deputies set up an active perimeter and searched for the suspects using air and K9 units.

Two men were caught by police, and the second two suspects were located when they walked into a local business and asked to use a phone.

Officers from the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety said the business owner recognized the suspects from the photo released on social media, and he held the two men at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived.

At around 10:30 Saturday morning, police say that they had all four men in custody.

Police say the suspects are four black men who were wearing dark jeans and hoodies. There is currently no information on whether they were armed or not.

Officials believe these men were involved in multiple burglaries or attempted burglaries in Alpharetta and south Forsyth County.
