Police: Shooter opens fire at men on porch

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police say a man was shot while sitting on the porch with his friends in southwest Atlanta around midnight.

Investigators say the shooter walked up to the home on Rockwell Street and asked the group to "let me hold 300."

The suspect then shot at the porch, hitting the man in the shoulder and leg.

The victim said the gunman began walking toward him and fired at another of his friends who were jumping off the porch.

Police described the suspect as a man in his 20s with low-cut hair in twists who was wearing all black.

Medics transported the victim to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.
