Police searching for man wanted for series of robberies

LAGRANGE, Ga. - LaGrange Police are looking for a man they believe is responsible for a string of armed robberies across state lines.

Police released a photo of the man on Thursday.

Officers said he showed a handgun to the clerk at the Dollar General on Colquitt Street late Wednesday night, before getting away with cash.

Detectives believe this same man may have been behind a series of crimes in both Georgia and Alabama.

Anyone who recognizes him should contact the police.
