Police release sketch of sexual assault suspect in Atlanta

Atlanta Police released a sketch Thursday of a man they said pushed a 16-year-old girl into the woods and sexually assaulted her at gunpoint.

It happened the evening of July 10 in the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr Drive NW, according to police.

Police describe the man as being in his early 20s, 5'10" or taller, with a slender build, short black hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo of lips on his neck.

Investigators said the man is likely armed and dangerous.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call the Atlanta Police Special Victims Unit at 404-546-4260 or Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477). Tipsters may be eligible for up to a $2,000 reward for the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
