Police: Person shot in back in Sweet Auburn area of Atlanta

ATLANTA - Police are investigating a shooting in the Sweet Auburn area of Atlanta.

The incident happened in the overnight hours Tuesday at the intersection of William Holmes Borders Senior Drive and Edgewood Avenue NE.

According to Atlanta police, a male victim was shot in the back.The victim's name and condition are not known at this time.
