Police: Man, woman found dead inside Stone Mountain apartment

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Police are investigating a double fatal shooting in Stone Mountain Monday night.

Police were dispatch around 9 p.m. to the Park at East Ponce Apartments in the 5500 block Tree Mountain Way. DeKalb County Police said a roommate came home to an apartment in Building 5100 and found a man and woman, both believed to be in their 40s, dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available.

The names of those deceased have not yet been released.

Police said they do not have a suspect in custody.
