Police: Man who robbed auto parts store, nearly shot child arrested

TYRONE, Ga. - Bremen Police have arrested the man who investigators believe robbed an O'Reilly Auto Parts in Tyrone last week and almost shot a 3-year-old girl.

Police said he was caught after attempting to rob yet another O'Reilly store in Bremen.

Investigators said a sergeant confronted the gunman who pointed his weapon at the sergeant before running away.

Two officers who were waiting outside the store captured him.

Police have not released his name as of Tuesday evening.
