Police: man stabs brother to death

ATLANTA, Ga. - Atlanta Police are trying to figure out what led a man to stab his brother to death.  

The stabbing happened just after one Saturday morning at a home on Hartford and Dill Avenues.  Atlanta Police said the two brothers got into a fight at the home and that is when one stabbed the other, killing him.  Investigators said they found one brother dead inside the home and the other brother was arrested.

"Both subjects are in their 40's and the perpetrator in custody does appear intoxicated," said Captain Ben McGee with Atlanta Police.  "At this time we are not sure what led up to the altercation and the stabbing, however our homicide units are on the scene processing it, collecting evidence and interviewing potential witnesses," said Captain McGee.

Police said they are also working to figure out whether or not the brothers lived together at the home.
