Police: Man shoots girlfriend at DeKalb County Starbucks

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A domestic incident took a violent turn in public on Saturday afternoon.

Police say a man shot his girlfriend in the leg at a Starbucks in DeKalb County.

The shooting happened at the coffee shop's location on the 4200 block of Lawrenceville Highway in Tucker around 3:20 p.m.

Police told FOX 5 the woman was transported to a nearby hospital in moderate condition.

The suspect in the shooting fled before police arrived, but police say they know his identity.
