Police: Man injured in Midtown stabbing

ATLANTA - Police are investigating an overnight stabbing in Midtown Atlanta. 

Investigators said it happened in the 900 block of Peachtree Street shortly after midnight.

A man said he was jumped by a group of men and stabbed in the chin and chest. 

The victim was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital and is expected to recover. 

There have been no arrests made in the case. 

Police said they aren't sure of a motive.
