Police: Lithonia woman arrested in murder of husband

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A DeKalb County woman was charged in the shooting death of her husband.

Officers found 68-year-old Kenneth Jones shot in his Lithonia home located in the 5600 block of Saint Thomas Drive Thursday night.

Medics rushed him to the hospital shortly after 8:30 p.m. He later died from his injuries.

The victim's wife, 55-year-old Cynthia Jones, was at the home when police arrived.

She was taken into custody for questioning and later charged with murder.
