Police investigating possible hate-motivated attack

KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw Police are looking for two men in connection with an assault and possible hate crime.

Police said 26-year-old Humberto Sanchez was at the Subourbon Bar in Kennesaw on July 13 when two white men made derogatory comments to him inside the bar.

Investigators told FOX 5 News Sanchez later left the bar, and at some point, as he was walking down Summers Street, two men assaulted him.

Police said Sanchez was not sure if it was the same two men, but he got a laceration on his face and went to the hospital.

Kennesaw Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the two white male suspects. The victim said he believes they have brown or dark blonde hair.
