Police investigate deadly double shooting at Buckhead apartment complex

ATLANTA - Atlanta Police are investigating a double shooting at the Allure at Brookwood Apartments in Buckhead. 

Police told FOX 5 they responded to reports of a shooting after 2 a.m. Thursday morning. Two men were exiting the gated apartment complex as one man was going in, and a confrontation followed.

Gunfire was exchanged, according to police. One man was shot in the head and killed. Another man was shot in the head hand and arm. The man shot in the hand and arm was taken to the hospital, and he is expected to survive. 

Police are still on the hunt for the third man. They describe him as a 6-foot tall black male.
