Police: Hit-and-run crash leaves 2 houses damaged

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - DeKalb County Police are investigating after a group crashed into two houses and took off from the scene.

The wreck happened just after midnight Tuesday on Glenwood Avenue.

According to the incident report obtained by FOX 5 News, the car flew off the road, hit a power pole, struck one house, slammed into a tree before crashing into the bedroom of another house.  The homeowner was sleeping when the front end of the car slammed through his bedroom, nearly missing his head.

FOX 5 News spoke with the homeowners whose houses were damaged. They are concerned about speeding in the area.
