Police: Floyd County man raped woman at gunpoint

Floyd County Police said they have arrested a man for the rape of a woman at gunpoint.

It happened Tuesday at a home on Butler Street.

Police said Daniel Jacory Willams went to the home after being served a temporary protective order and told to leave.

Officers said he took the victim's phone while she tried to call 911, held a gun to her while he punched her, and then forced her into the bedroom where he raped her.

A child was also inside the home at the time.

Police have charged Williams with rape, aggravated assault, burglary, and cruelty to children among other charges.
