Police: Driver in custody, 3 at large following chase

ATLANTA - Police in Atlanta said they are searching for three people who fled from officers during a chase Monday afternoon.

The chase ended around 2 p.m. in the 500 block of Parkway Drive. Atlanta Police said officers attempted to pull over the vehicle, which was reportedly taken during an earlier carjacking, near Buford Highway and Sidney Marcus Boulevard. The driver sped away.

Police said the car eventually stopped along Parkway Drive, with all four occupants running away from the scene. Officers said they were able to catch the driver, but spent the afternoon looking for the other three.

The name of the driver has not yet been released.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
