Police dog basks in his own awesomeness for a job well done

A police dog from Lancashire Police Dog Unit is considered a new hero after taking down two suspects.

Police attempted to stop a van in northwest England and then chased the van until the two suspects ditched the car and ran across some farmland. Vinnie chased down the men and detained one of them before finding the other suspect hiding in the woods.  Police took both men into custody.

Vinnie is now being praised by hundreds of thousands online. Members of his unit call the 7-year-old Malinios, “a powerful hard hitting silent assassin.”

Vinnie just cannot seem to keep that grin off of his face!
